(1889-1970) Wealthy businessman and golf course designer. Designed several of Japan's most famous golf courses including the Kasumigaseki Country Club (1929). Benefactor of Morihei Ueshiba who conducted fund raising efforts on behalf of the KOBUKAN DOJO in the late 1930s. Instrumental in the setting up of both the KOBUKAI FOUNDATION and the AIKIKAI FOUNDATION and a member of the board of directors of the latter until his death.
